The world that we once knew was changed forever and not for the better............

I can't help but think about the thousands who died that day, particualarly the ones who were forced to choose between burning to death or jumping to their death.

I think about the 343 "Brothers" that I lost on that day, and I mourn with those who knew them.

I am PROUD of how the FDNY handled an incredibly impossible situation, and the pride that they showed in simply being Americans.
I am still angered by the events of that day and by the celebrations of the carnage that broke out in the muslim world.

Because of the Joy and Jubilation that was demonstrated that day in the muslim world NO ONE will ever be able to convince me that muslims are PEACEFUL and LIKE us.
There is some comfort to be found in the death of the "master mind" behind the attacks.
Still the war on terror is far from over and will not be over until every single person that hates us and wants us dead is dead.
That is why I wear this patch on the back of my jacket:

I have been pleased with the news coverage of this tenth anniversary of 9/11, they haven't "sterilized" their coverage.
This is important to me because I think that Americans shouldn't only remember 9/11, but that they should still be ANGRY as well.
If you cannot relive the events of September 11th, 2001 without becomming angry, then I definately cannot understand you, and I'm not sure that I want to.
As we remember the events of 10 years ago............

Don't just remember today, remember everyday and NEVER FORGET that there are Millions of people that want US dead and would do this to us everyday if they could.
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana
May God Bless America................
