A bad map and a long ride in Northern New Mexico!

I figure my  nearly 12 year old bike needed its carbs pulled this morning.  I have been wanting to see what was in the bowls, and take a gander at improving fuel mileage.  I have wrestled with my other valk (99 I/S also) getting nearly 10mpg better fuel mileage. 

It took a little bit to get them off, but wasn't impossible.

Anyway, they are off, will look at them later today or tomorrow evening.  I am off to a birthday party for one of the nephews!
