viking pipes aka VMC.  any pipes with a collector. TBR's 8 HP more, using oem pipes and converting to glass packs with a collector 5 HP.

93.6 HP on a stock other than the cobras 98 Tourer. The best I have seen listed is100 HP. 6.3
HP loss could be the pipes or the 48000 miles. The bike runs great except for the #@%* tach. That still only works when it feels like it.

Or something else entirely.

Scott at fast bike who did the Dyno thought the pipes had no loss of power when tuned properly. There is a lot of reasons that the hp is at 93 and I'm not convinced that I'm not seeing normal power out of a 13 year old bike. The Dyno was done to help tune the carbs. Check out Fast Bike in Grand Rapids MI on line.

These pipe threads based on "opinions" rather than on "proven facts/numbers" are getting to be just as bad as oil threads, car tires, etc.

Just my 2 Canadian cents.

I never said that the cobras made the bike faster or made more
HP. I only said that I liked the sound. The tuning that Fast Bike did made a lot of difference in how my bike ran. I had a chance to ride today and there was a very big improvement in the speed of my bike. A very good and reasonable priced service.
