The best way to grin through roller-coaster fuel prices and a down economy is to choose an efficient vehicle that delivers plenty of thrills for under $20,000. So, what’ll it be: a subcompact or an exotic Italian bike? We took the Honda Fit Sport and Ducati Hypermotard S out on the road and took a look at the stats to help weigh the option.

MSN has an odd article up in its car news section asking if it is best to buy a subcompact or an exotic Italian bike? that is an odd pairing. Can we say apples to ducati comparison?

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

To paraphrase an example, Picasso was sitting in a New York art gallery during an exhibit of his works.  An art critic asked him what a particular piece meant. Picasso's response (paraphrased) "It means nothing to me.  Once I have finished it my meaning is done."  The Picasso asked, "what does it mean to you?"

So Cap, what does it mean to you?

Is it the absurdity of talking motorcycles?

Is it the reference to one of the seminal novels of the beat generation? or the odd phrasing of a questioned theme of conformity juxtaposed with a need to conform in the end?

Is it perhaps akin to a Robert Howard novel, fun but means nothing in the end?

I have had my joy in the creation and the sharing. Mean? That is not for me to decide. Author's intentions are generally over shadowed by the reader's personal response. I'm fine with that.
