Was heading North/West on 87/287 when we saw the first bikes heading South/East on the causway of the Tappan Zee Bridge.  The line of bikes ended when we reached the trailor toll plaza between exits 14 and 15.  This is a good 8 mile stretch (maybe even more).  As we were driving on our side, the line of bikes were moving in the opposite direction at about the same speed, so that distance had to double.  It was very impressive thing to see.  I wonder if they made each bike pay the bridge toll?

I hope no "TOLL".....  cooldude I would think stopping to pay would slow things down to a STOP.

a group ride through a toll booth would really slow down the ride. Of course I'm a NC kid and don't really understand how to work toll booths anyway.

I also don't completely understand how subways work. I've always thought they look dangerous.

This was this firemans 911 ride leaving occ choppers to firemans memorial in riverside in NYC. Yes, you had to pay the toll. They required us to prepay. There were stickers placed on the headlight to reflect the payment.  Figure about 7000 bikes in the group.....

You got it hay. Was a beautiful weekend. Everyone there was friendly. They came from across the country and Canada. Was surprised at how many venders they had. Was glad to have done it, but don't have the need to do it again as it draws the crazy riders. On the other hand we did meet a couple other valk riders and enjoyed talking to them.
