I walked past my Valkyrie in the garage as I was leaving for work today.

There, I hope you are happy.  No politics, no request for prayers that have nothing to do with riding or a riding accident, nothing about my kids or my dog.  No pic of a hot woman.  Just a post of what I did with my Valkyrie today.  Nothing for anyone to even respond to.

Wow!  Exciting, hunh?

I walked past my Valkyrie in the garage as I was leaving for work today. . . .

cooldude On the way to work today I walked out of the house and gave the dog a quick scratch on her head and neck. I also walked by my Valkyrie today in the garage.  I paused, and made two quick wipes across the tank with the microfiber to wipe off some imagined dust.  Off work tomorrow after a tough stretch and will renew our friendship.  Smiley

I'm sorry, but I was all excited about reading your simple post concerning your Valkyrie and then you had to drag work into it!  Just for once can't you leave well enough alone?  There must be hundreds of forums out there in which you can freely discuss the means of supporting your existence.  I suppose it just never crossed your mind that some might be offended?  Some don't work by choice; some are involuntarily without employment.  Some are retired while some are just tired.  Some are happy in their own vocation and don't need you making them feel like second class laborers.  Some despise their daily grind and you've just rubbed your own particular brand of salt in it for them.

I just hope you're proud of yourself, Mr. New York Yankee!  Next time, try to remember that this isn't just another work board.   Wink

I avoided my cage yet again.  I have a string back to June 1st.  I did drive it to camp once with my 4 year old I guess.  and I did drive it to the dealership once for warranty work, and once to the gas station to put gas in it for my Mother-In-Law.  But that's it.

I have been all Honda, ALL the time other than that...

Well, and the times I drove my wife's cage...   Roll Eyes

I was tired yesterday, I'm tired again today. Guess I'm re-tired? Don't work either, haven't for nearly eight years, longer according to my old boss.  2funny

I did clean the remaining Love Bugs off the bike from my 200 mile lunch ride last Saturday. Also cleaned the windshield, was debating about riding it to the gym but don't like riding in just shorts, t-shirt, and tennies(actuall eleven and a halfies). Guess I'll ride the bicycle down there, only about 4.7 miles one way. There, it's both Valk and bike related. Before I leave I'll scratch my wife behind her ears and kiss the neighbor's dog. Think I'm right on that..... Undecided

So I walked out of the house and up the hill to where I keep my Valk under a shed. I still haven't built my shed yet. Then I rode to work. It may not be the best part of my day, but it is the best part of waking up is a Valk under butt. Or maybe that was folgers. I can't remember.

I have seen your bike lately and it is hideously dirty (WARNING OSS PICS ARE BACK !!!)

I mean in a Daniel Mayer/ Valker sort of way

So being the kind of friend I am you can borrow my secretary as she finished cleaning the Valk on Monday and then the beemer yesterday and she has nothing to do but parade around in her bikini all day and painting her nails   Just bring her back before Hay shows up as I need the bikes clean for our ride

There are 7 male clients just sitting in the waiting room waiting to see me  they have no money
they just want to come in and go back out so they can see her. Actually one of them is in fact a woman
says she heard I may have an opening for secretary.

She better be able to get the water spots off the Valkyrie

After working the midnight shift last night, I came home this morning and walked up to the Valk in the garage and scratched it behind the tires and gave it a pat on top of the tank and said "come on girl, let's go for a ride".  While out riding this morning I prayed that all of those people going to work this morning wouldln't run into me while I was thinking of posting pics of hot girls on the VRCC.  So here's a pic of three girls instead.......

Wink

Like every morning since April 18th, I went out, patted my Bonneville on the hood and rode my Valk to work. Work involves driving a 60' articulated transit bus around town. Fun is pointing an eight foot Honda where ever she wants to go. On weekends we take directionless rides around town or in the country.

The Bonny has been started maybe 4 times this summer.

My Bonny sits out in the driveway, my Bonny just stays here at home.
My Bonny just waits for the winter, I'll drive her when some snow has flown!
