Mid-Day.com reports that the death of a young rider will result in more training in the future. Experienced riders are holding clinics to help prevent similar future tragedies. That is a lesson learned the hard way but I hope it helps.
Closer to home, local drag racer Doug Herbert, Herbert Racing, lost two sons in a car crash. They were suspected to be involved in illegal street racing and driving dangerously. Herbert set up a S.T.O.P campaign to create an incentive program to build good driving habits. I rode in the inaugural fund raising poker run years ago.
