Does anyone know what the Wal-Mart key blank number is for the Valk?

Thanks

I'd be surprised if there is one, but I've been surprised before.

I'd be really surprised if Walmat has a blank for the VALK.

You could try matching your key with one of the blanks.

The Honda dealer in Daytona, FL made a spare key for me last year and the price was very reasonable.

Your local dealer might be able to do the same.

Maybe this will help,

The blank that they used was made by, ILCO there are two numbers on the blank:

X84 and HD74

There is a person on eBay that sells blanks.  There are two different blanks for the Valk.  I know because I have a '97 Std & '00 I/S and they are mirror images of each other.

Just went thru this! there are 2 diff blanks which Wallyworld don't have! match your ket to A or B, then take it to (wallmart) your blank will be cut from your key for free! But with no guarantee. my 2 spares worked like a charm.

Check with Ace Hardware. My friend works there and she made me a spare.

Thanks SmokinJoe.
Stopped for gas in a small town 30 miles from home. Across the road was a new Ace Hardware store. I rode over and asked for a key. After telling them I wanted a DC 3 blank they didn't want to make me one. I said I will buy the key before you grind it and if it doesn't fit I will ride home no complaints.
The man asked a younger guy to help. I explained again, he looked at the blank and said I think they are the same Smiley, He ground the key and with a gentle wiggle it turned the ignition. Tried the saddlebags and they locked. Went back and told him, he wanted to polish the key and was smiling.
I didn't need another spare just curious.

They work fine. Didn't know it was a mits blank. Just took the keys in late last year and they had the blanks and made no fuss about it.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.
