cover on an interstate?

I am trying to wire in a USB power point, and can't get it to work.

I have looked around on here a lot to no avail.

Thanks in advance!

hell, I didn't know standards HAD them.  Nice to know though as I gots one of them too.

Now why could I not find that pic in the archives anywhere?

I have new Scala G4's.  And I am using the A2DP audio streaming from my I-Phone.  I need charging ports for the LONG rides.

The Scala G4's with A2DP is VERY cool technology by the way.

Thank you Sir for the super quick pick-me-up!  Two minutes... BAM!!!  I hate this club!

It's only a USB port.

5v @ 1A.  so... only .4167 amps @ 12 volts.  (I think... ???)

going to try to hook up a 2 channel amp.  Regarding these leads, a couple questions....

1)...What is the best way to remove the right side cover?

2)...Can an amp be powered directly from the acc lead???  I'll put an inline fuse in between...)

3)   In the picture it shows a 3mm aux input.....Ok, where does that lead go???  I'm assuming it is really 3.5mm??  What does it do??

1)...What is the best way to remove the right side cover?

I heard so many horror stories about $150 busted tabs on side covers that I was freaked
out about it when I got my Valkyrie.

I still look in my owner's manual to see exactly what order to pop the tabs when I take it off sometimes, seems
to me as if you'll never bust them if you do that. I squirt a dab of WD40 in the grommets when
re-installing them to make them slip in real easy.

They go to even more detail with big pictures about what to do in the shop manual. If you don't
have one, Dag has one at:  http://www.valkyrienorway.com/download.html      section 2-3, I think.

2)...Can an amp be powered directly from the acc lead???  I'll put an inline fuse in between...)

I wouldn't power much of anything from the acc lead. I'd use it to drive a relay, and hook
the amp to the battery.

thank for the info.......Can you describe/recommend what type of relay to purchase?   Or a link, etc??

I've no clue as to what kind of relay to purchase.

Look on here for what I consider to be the magic relay de-mystifying picture:
