I am the proud owner of one of these fine shooting machines.....The only draw back I see is that it is a double stack mag which makes it a thicker weapon therefore not quite so easy as a conceal carry weapon unless you're doing a shoulder rig. It is a tack driver and recoil is easy to handle so you can get back on target quickly.  cooldude

I am a proud owner of an XD-45. It is the best shooting most reliable .45 I've handled. Absolutely love this gun. You can't go wrong cooldude
 Good info. good forum. http://www.xdtalk.com/
I agree with Detn8r on the shoulder rig. I have a Galco shoulder rig which I highly recommend and a Blackhawk Serpa for my web belt, with paddle holster conversion for semi-concealed carry.http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?ProductID=2714&GunID=223

the only bad feed back i've heard so far is the slide release is a little stout, but if the fellow in the vids wife can handle it then surely a musclehead can cooldude

i have the xd40. like it a lot. agree about the slide release though.

but then my RA limits that kind of movement a lot also.
