I just peeled off the lid on a cup of this yogurt and noticed it has a donation code on the underside. First I've seen it so don't know if it's because I'm not observant or they only recently started this. You go to the website www.cupofhope.com and on the right side is a blue box with various titles in it. Click on "Dannon Activia." That takes you to a new screen with Dannon Activia at the top of the list...click on that. In the center it will slowly scroll through some small screens and click on the pink one where it says "join us." That takes you to a pink screen and on the right side is where you enter your code, email, etc.  At the top it gives a running total of $$. It's only ten cents per entry, but the total is almost $218,000 at this time with a max of $1.5 million. If they don't reach the max, they still guarantee a minimum of $500k. I have no idea if all the Dannon line of yogurt has this or not, we only buy these small cups, just the right size for us. Our grocery usually has them on sale 3-four cup units for around $6 so it's fairly reasonable. Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone's interested, no obligation or requests made.

So, if you like yogurt, this is good stuff and you can add to the total with just a few minutes of your time. Having lost one daughter to cancer and a second one now fighting a recurrence ten years after a double mastectomy, it naturally struck home with me.

John;
I regularly use Activia poured over a bowl of fruit. Delicious! I've never seen the code. I'll look for it. ???

Sorry to learn 'bout how breast cancer has affected your family.

In my community, families gather once per year at the top of a Mountain and walk the trails at midnight. We then hold a campfire / candle-light vigil;
BBQ-Camping, etc all at once.  It lasts several nights. All for breast cancer research... Smiley

Many families camp out but come and go over the entire period, as needed. Everyone donates $100 +. We usually raise up to $40k every year.
The program includes breast cancer "survivor" testimonials, music, art and poetry. cooldude

It's an inspiring and unifying experience. Our community is better for it.

Thank you for posting.

Paxton, thanks for the info, might be something I'd like to try once if I'm ever out that way. As for the coding under the tear off lid, it may be new...never seen it before, but it's on all the new ones we bought last week. At least those we've opened thus far.
