Will the rear caliper off of a 2001 interstate work on a 1998 Tourer? Or is this related to the wheel/rotor/year issues?

You cannot just swap calipers. Tried it last year and it did not work, put a I/S caliper on a 98 tourer and it just did not fit properly, also the standard and tourer calipers are silver while the I/S rear calipers are black.

I once tried to use Interstate rear caliper pistons on my 97 Tourer's rear
caliper... well, I didn't try very long, the pistons on the Interstate caliper
were much smaller than the Tourer ones...
