Entertaining but if its owners hammering their own vehicles I think some would hold back a tad and others would not really know at what point to change gear.

I would take the Audi R-8 Spyder GT ANY day, as a personal choice...
As noted, interesting race, but I'd like to see them all with professional drivers - might have a different outcome.
