6 months and 15 days of owning my 91 ford ranger. the ignition switch gave up the ghost. so i thought. it seems after all this time the key was worn down so low it would not turn the switch over. found the spare key and she started right up. good thing too, i would hate to have to replace that switch. looks like a bugger to get to.  Grin

I have had several Ford trucks that have had that problem.  Dont forget to get a new copy made of the good key or next time......
