Wel,,,,, Finally,,,,,, after doing all the upgrades (except for the IS forward controls which still haven't arrived yet) my Valk Trike is ready!!!!!  cooldude

Only one problem left!!!!  Shocked

Can you believe that I'm too chicken to put gas in the new IS tank for fear that I'll see a leak!!!!    uglystupid2

Now,,, I know that I tightened all screws around the fuel sender and used the rubber O ring gasket! I tightened the petcock and it is facing the right way. All hoses are connected and I must have checked that quick dis-connect fuel hose a couple of times. By a couple I mean 37! lol. I also used pipe tape on the motosen senders to prevent oil/coolant leaks. I have this suppressed vision in my head that as soon as I hit the starter, She'll blow up! lol

And this leads to another question! Is this a common problem others face as they get older? I always thought that the older you get, the more brazen you'd become. Kinda like an "Ahh Screw It" attitude.

When I was a LOT younger there was not much I would not tackle or try. Now in my senior years I seem to think twice a lot before I do something. Undecided

gas leaks can be annoying to chase. start with a little gas and take it slow. if it holds a little it will hold a little more.
on more than one occasion I had to unbolt the xs11 tank while a pet rooster tried to leak a full tank of gas out across the concrete floor.
