......yep...today,s Chili,s Birthday....we spent the entire weekend celebrating... ....took her out for Mexican Friday night in TC....then we headed out Saturday afternoon in the Blazer for the Upper Peninsula....leaves were not yet in full colors...but still beautiful...wound up in Grand Marais on the shores of Lake Superior....got a nice little cabin right on the water and had dinner in town....Sunday we went exploring the sights...Sable falls....Sable Log Flume.....Miners Beach.....and ended up in Pictured Rocks....saw a Loon on a lake along the way.....and Chili heard it call out ...first time shes ever heard one in the 29 years shes lived in Northern Michigan.....we toured 7 miles of wet lands on the way home, and got home around 10:30 last night... ....Baby....I love you so very much...every day is like a "first date" when we go out exploring....and whether were in the wind howling in the rain after midnight, deep in the woods....or firing up the fire pit and having an impromptu bbq in the dead of winter with three feet of snow on the ground.....my life with you is truly blessed... .....Happy Birthday.....my Chili Gurl..  |
