Okay, I've heard 3 & 4, and now 13 & 14.
If it is 13 & 14, those are funky aluminum on mine. Also, IMHO, they are far enough out of sight a good polishing would go them 110% better in looks.
That would sure beat chroming, or maybe I should say attempting to chrome them.
How about a good Powder coating? I got several things on my Chevy Trike Powder coated, including the exhaust behind the headers.
Okay, look close. Header is ceramic coated by Sanderson in San Francisco, little yellowish strip is actually a chrome strap, eliminates muffler clamps so you can separate the 2 pipes without using a air chisel, when you see it live, from there back it is all Powder Coated. I made this exhaust about 5 or 6 years ago. Has probably 15 to 17,000 miles on it.
By going 4" (header) to 3" (muffler inlet) to 4" (outlet) on the muffler really added some torque to the ole girl.
