My friend, Robert, from Malvern, Arkansas was hit last Thursday on his way to Fayetteville for the BB&BBQ rally.  Driver gave left turn signal but turned right sending Robert and his wife to the hospital.  Both released by Saturday night but Robert will still need surgery to repair broken bones.  His wife says she won't ride again and has asked him to sell his bikes.  Hafta wait and see.

That is one reason why I will not attempt to pass someone till I actually see them commit to the turn.

Got run down a couple of times on the CHP bike.    Lucky on mine, just scrapes.

Can't trust cage drivers at all.

I mean with cup holders, MP3 Players, Cd Players, kids in the car, pets in the car, CELL PHONES RINGING OFF THE HOOK.

You almost have to expect them  to run you down anytime.

And they never see us.

Hope your friends get better and ride again.

But if not at least they are alive.

Bummer!  Hope he recovers quickly.

Isn't it funny how those tools never pull that kind of crap when I am driving my Dodge Cumins crew cab.  Obviously it is not invisible.

I get morons pulling across me and trying to turn to beat the big yellow bus.

I guess they think it's a school bus ergo it travels at a snails pace.

One day I'd love to...............................................................  2funny 2funny 2funny

Ask my wife BJ how many idiots pull right out in front of my BWD (Big White Dodge) while pulling our camping trailer!  People are just in too big of a hurry and don't leave early enough to get where they are going On Time.  So, they rush and rush and someone else pays the price.
Don't get me wrong, I like riding fast, but there is a time and place for it and it's NOT in front of other vehicles.
[\rant off]

Heal up fast my friends!
