About time for all the leaves to fall and was looking to get a new leaf blower. I was looking at the backpack blowers. Test drove a Stihl BR600 and really like it. Was also considering an Echo pb 770. Any suggestions? Thanks...Wegs

Get a chain saw and take care of the problem near the roots.... Seriously... can't comment on the back pak type blowers, but I have an Echo wacker and it works great.

Out where I live leaf blowers are a necessity. That being said my cheap a#@ owns a Homeline leaf blower but, my neighbors all own Stihl leaf blowers. I have used them and they are awesome. The next one I buy will be a Stihl. My chainsaw was the best thing I have bought and although it was quite a bit of money it was well worth it so their leaf blowers in my opinion should be the same. Go with the Stihl.

I've got a Stihl with the back straps I've had it several years and it starts on the first pull . 95 % of the time it's used to dry my bike's after cleaning them up or blow the garage out. I cut all the huge tree's around my house after working tornado damage down in Mississippi a few years ago. The tree's that left in the yard I just let the wind blow them where it wills.....You can't go wrong with a Stihl look around at the folks that make a living doing this type work most all will use a Stihl ....You can buy a cheaper one but I doubt you can buy a better one
