Britman,  cooldude

I have been following Roy Beck for years now, the NUMBERS USA organization is doing great things. They are a non partisan entity that is exposing the immigration fiasco for what it really is. They are responsible for millions of faxes to our political hacks, and their message is gaining momentum everyday.

If the average citizen would watch those tapes they would understand that our country can not continue with the immigration policies in effect today, nor the lack of enforcement of the laws currently on the books.

I live in this messed up state. We are laying off teachers, firefighters and police officers due to lack of money. Yet, we can find the money to fund illegals to go to college! WHAT PART OF ILLEGAL DO THESE PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!! I have a daughter that is 3/4 of the way across the country going to school in Iowa, becuase it was so hard to get into a school in our home state. And she was and is a straight A student. My son is a senior in high school and is very much considering going into a military ROTC program to get into college. Un-freaking real!!!!! YET WE CAN FUND ILLEGALS!!!!!!! After my son gets entrenched into college somewhere, the only thing that is holding my wife and I here are our jobs. No family ties. If something was to happen to the jobs, and that could happen at anytime in this enconmic climate, we have both decided WE ARE OUTA HERE!! Don't know where we would go, but we'd be outa California so fast. Maybe the illegals can pay the taxes this state would lose when we leave. Sorry, this issue just pisses me off. Rant over.

I said this before, Jerry Brown needs the Mexican vote so he's catered to the large Hispanic and liberal population.

Yes it is, and my wife and I are very proud of our young man. I'm sorry if it came across sounding like it was not honorable. No direspect meant at all. We are a very pro-military family, that's one of the reasons he is considering the ROTC route to college. The brave men and women that wear the uniforms and protect and serve our country have our thanks, respect and prayers always.

What is hard to swallow, is why dosen't a fine young man that is a great student, a citizen of our country, NOT HERE ILLEGALY, get the same consideration for money for college? Very frustrating to say the least.

Big Chris, WHEN you leave,if Tucson is on the way out gimme a pm.  I left in 96 and the first thing I noticed was the DMV took 15 minutes. Not always, mind you, but its Air Conditioned. Cal was a great place to be raiosed in the 60/70's. You couldnt give me Cal now. Fer instance, 1acre fenced with 1400 sqft mobil with a 25X25 garage 25 miles from town, 139.5. Gas 1.17. Ride 348 days a year.
