We took 17 west to 209 north and then 55 and 44 through the mountains No traffic except for New Paltz.
The reds and orange in the trees was really nice.
Did see one Harley that failed to negotiate a hairpin turn and went off the road into the wall and ditch
No idea how he could have messed up he was going uphill and in perfect dry weather
Maybe just inattention or driver fixation
Looks like it will stay nice till Wed nite
Its not quite peak like the pic but will be next weekend
The overlook will be looking good by the time Dag gets here
