Oh yeah I forgot, they have to gather before they're all frozen in their igloos and can't get out.

It's been a good year; health, job, family, weather and a Valkyrie. Happy Thanksgiving (metric) now for we Canadians, and our friends south of the border next month.

Alright, just because I’m ignorant of Canadian traditions, but, I’ve got to ask, do you guys have a turkey dinner with pumpkin pie, and all the things we Americans call a traditional thanks giving day dinner??

I had turkey for dinner and pumpkin pie with whipped cream with cabbage rolls and perogies. The wife sometimes cooks a glazed ham as well. Once in a while we get a Beaver tail for desert, just to be different.
I think it's just our growing season is shorter and harvest is earlier, generally we have the same heritage as our American cousins.

I can see why you like that  "BEAVER TAIL" Alph!

BeaverTails are a Canadian-based chain of pastry stands operated by BeaverTails Canada Inc. The chain's namesake product is a line of fried dough pastries, individually hand stretched to resemble a beaver’s tail.

I don't think you would like to be cuddling up to the Beavertail where I live.
