I have a small pinhole leak on the right side of the radiator next to the tank, has anyone heard of getting one fixed or is it replacement time.  does the interstate rad fit the standard bike?

Your radiator can be repaired.

Take it off, and take it to a reputable radiator shop.

Yes, there are still a few of these left.   Like I said, only a few.

Pepper, table usage, will stop a pinhole till you can get a repair done.
Take the pepper shaker off the table, remove the lid and pour about a 1/2 teaspoon in the filler hole.    Let the bike run about 1,500 to 2,000 RPM's a few minutes and the hole should fill up and stop the drip, temporarily, this is not a final fix.    In cases of emergency, it will get ya home from about 800 miles out.  Don't bother asking how I know.

When you say on the "right-side next to the tank" are you referring to gas tank. If so, that would make it near the filler neck? No?

If that's where it is, check the cap to make sure it is seated tight enough. Make sure that you or a previous owner wasn't manipulating the cap with the set screw still in it, that could booger the filler neck up.

I have found previous if the cap isn't sealing right, it will "spittle" a bit.

If that isn't the area it is leaking from then disregard everything I just said.  Wink

It's the right side of the rad tank, I'll have to research for a reputable radiator shop.  thanks
