out of Franklin off of 64 headed North.  Good road or not?  Anyone done this one?

We ride it all the time nice scenic road with great twisties....It's not the greatest pavement ( tar and chip ) and has marbles in some turn's but well worth the ride.

O.k.thanks for the scoop.  We couldn't get there for the fcr on friday,but will Be coming in on sat for 6 days.  Maybe we will cross Path's.

Watch for gravel in the switchbacks. Oh yeah and of course wet leaves at this time of the year.

In some sections the road is grooved and makes a bike twitch like a rear tire with low pressure.

Don't forget Caffe Rel in Franklin, NC next to the HOT SPOT gas station. You will not regret it.

It is a great road......Very tight and the beginning section along the river is gorgeous.  About halfway to Franklin, out of nowhere appears a very shiny airstream that is a little snack stand and wifi/cell spot.   The road is fun!!
