Hey all,

Sorry I missed the Kerrville ride this weekend but I figure representing Valks on Deals Gap kinda makes up for it.  My first time in the area and it was fantastic!  Amazing roads, great scenery and cool people.

Me and my friend Lisa cutting through a random turn on Deals Gap.

Is that guy Yellow Wolf still shooting video's up there.  He runs a yellow 1800 Goldwing and apparently holds the record for most miles run on that road in a 24 hour period of time.

You can hear the scraping in the background.  Must have a few extra pegs, floorboards, and chrome pieces at the house.  Amazing ride.  No way I could ever keep up.  Looking forward to when I go there sometime next year to ride the Dragon.

It's a gas to ride the Dragon.  Wish the traffic was less, though.  Really crowded on weekends.

No need to ever apologize for visiting our brothers and sisters (and their fantastic roads and scenery) in the great state of Tennessee!

I think we had a little luck and a little planning help there.  We rode Deals Gap on Friday morning a couple of times and then hit the other roads (Moonshine 28, Wayah, Cherahola SKyway, etc) for the rest of Friday and all of Sat then boogied back on Sunday.  For the most part, the traffic was really not bad...but we weren't on Deal Gap on Sat or Sun.  My biggest problem was catching up to other vehicles going slower than I was...you know, cars...and a lot of Harleys.

Saw a couple of yellow wings out there...didn't notice if they had all their pipes and pegs ground off though.  Wow, that's some riding!
