One of our brothers crashed this summer - On his black and red with sidecar, wife on back and son in the car.  The bearing failed on the sidehack, he lost control and the rig flipped into the ditch.  His son walked away.  Marty broke his foot, his son got up without a scratch, but his wife was severely injured and is in intensive care.  The bike is totalled.  Now he is working through all the recovery issues, while he is glad they are all alive and get another chance.

Meanwhile, Marty had ordered a nice set of pipes from me, I had just completed them and was packing them for shipment when I got this bad news.

Marty says he hopes to get another Valk someday, and another set of pipes.  But of course that is down the road, he's got to work through this now, and get his wife recovered.  Not to mention the expenses.

I said I would see if someone wanted to buy his pipes, and ship them from here.  He has paid for them in full - so anyone buying them could pay him directly, or pay me & I will forward the payment to him.  If the latter, I would prefer a check or money order so there wouldn't be another bank charge on the money.  I have suggested this to some customers who were ordering about the same thing, but I'm thinking I should go ahead and announce it here so more folks see it and might help Marty out.

BTW, the big advantage to buying these pipes is, no waiting for either cores or for your order to rise to the top of my queue.  These are ready to ship RIGHT NOW.  Not to mention, you'll be helping Marty out, who no doubt could use the help.

This is a Mild2WILD glasspack mod, built on low mileage excellent quality cores (I paid $540 for the cores), with 36 X 4 Blades, miter out, with Silencers and Organ Pipes protruding one inch.  They are built with my standard muffler clamp glasspack attachment, no Crossover, and no TromBones.  Crossover cannot be added - that must be built from the beginning.  Trombones could be added, since I could replace the glasspacks with ones fitted to bones, since they are clamp mounted, but that moves the glasspack outlet back 2 inches inside, which will move the Silencers back, interfering with the position of the Organ Pipes.  Thus it would be best to take these the way they are, without further mods. NOTE - THAT STATEMENT APPLIES TO THIS SET ONLY.  I can and have, built systems that have Trombones, Organ Pipes, and Silencers and still fit in 36" Miter stacks. ( I even added a crossover in one set recently, on a 36" miter build with all options - took some careful fitting.)  Such sets are built with careful attention to length of internal parts, with tweaks applied to make sure they fit together. This set was built without optimizing shortness internally, and adding that after the build is difficult.  I say that, because I have repeatedly seen readers extrapolate some mention I have made, assumed it was a rule and applied it to other builds when it wasn't correct.

Marty has $1582.76 in these, which includes shipping to Quebec.  Your price will be $1409 plus whatever shipping to you is. Call me to get the quote for shipping to you - in the US, typical is $80-90 for Fedex Ground with very good packing.

Here's some pics of the pipes.  Click on the "enlarged" link to see them zoomed in.

Glad they all lived through it and hoping that they all have a quick and painless recovery!

Those look like the pipes I orderd from Mark.
