Antlers, OK

« on: July 23, 2008, 12:39:41 PM »

been wanting to for years and thanks to a layoff & not to bright of a fair job prospect in my career, i am moving to Oklahoma Thursday 24 thankfully along with my beautiful (and lucky Smiley S.O. Sharon (Flame).

my dad, 3 uncles & 20 cousins have lived there all their lives, so i feel when they've said the last couple of weeks to come on up & we'll find a living for ya, i believe them.

i plan on keeping my I/S (Samantha), & N-Line trailer, but will probably sell my Time-Out pop-up camper (Taj-Ma-Hall) asap unless times call for it all to go.

gonna really miss my Texas friends, but it's not goodbye for ever, just a little bit longer between hugs. we plan on making Texas Ranger/Catfish BBQ this year & as long as they have one.

and of course, attending Hotglue/Flamingo's GOTF's goes without question ( i know what they say about folks that don't show up, lol) though i may lose my high ground primo spot without my Taj-Ma-Hall  lol.

not sure how often i'll be able to get on the net, and i will be changing phone numbers & will pass it along asap, but anytime you're heading up to Talahina, holler at me. and yes we will be at the Robbers Cave ride in next year since we're just an hour away, and we have a couple of acres for. any campers that want to stay with us

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING !!!!

seeya "sooner" than later i hope Wink

Best wishes to all of you as you head "North".  You're always welcome here.

See you on the roads.

Gary (and crew)

ps What part of OK?

pps Hope you can make it down Oct 5 for the Ride For Kids.  Thinking that would make a good destination ride for our OK bretheren.

Sorry to see you go, but it sounds like you have quite the welcoming committee waiting for you.  I hope Antlers provides better prospects for everyone.

Why don't you pick out a couple of lunch stops about half way up?  I'll bet some of your Texas brothers would meet you in the middle sometime.

See you in September, if not sooner.

Find some good places to eat around Lawton or slightly further south and we can still ride together!

Best of luck to you and the family.

Don't know where we're going to find another DUKWyrie around here....

Hey Rick and Flame... I am going to miss you!  You have been there for me in my time of need. (dead battery)  and other things.  Thanks so much for your help.  But you are not going that far, we can still hook up and ride.   Hope to see you before you leave.  Aug 9th

Lewis, more information in needed to help you.  North from where?  How far north from there? And of course a general idea of the time line.

Will definitely miss your smiling faces.  But, it sounds like you're ready for this new chapter in your lives.  I'm sure you and Flame will make the most and the best of it.  Good luck to the whole family.

There will be no replacing the "color" you guys carry with you wherever you go. Shouldn't be too hard to spot you on the road. Happy Trails, Pal. ~Jeff
