So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Covington, TN

Nope, I haven't been to Sturgis but, Bat Cave, NC has got  to rank up there in the numbers of bikes in one place over a weekend.  I counted over a hundred in just one group that rode by and there were several very large groups riding by.  That doesn't even count all the bikes I saw parked in Bat Cave and Lake Lure, NC today.

Last June for our annual Ride for Dad we had 2350 bikes this year and raised $415000 for prostate cancer.  We get escorted by the police through Ottawa.  Very cool experience.  We even get to ride through red lights since the cops shut down the streets so we can ride through.

That sir is impressive. Almost a half of a million dollars!! Hats off from a small fry in the Non-for-profit against cancer arena. Not an easy accomplishment.  cooldude

Yet, oddly enough, today, not so much. This afternoon I rode from Asheville to Bat Cave via 74A and then #9 to Black Mtn. I saw a grand total of four bikes. Had the roads mostly to myself! I guess everybody's back to the grind today. Sadly, I'm due back on the job tomorrow too Cry  so the road's all yours.  Wink
