Since the sun is coming up later in the day I am riding to work in the dark and my headlight pretty much shines about 10 feet in front of the bike even on bright.  I have done a search and found some very good general information, but my questions is what tools are needed and where is the adjustment made on the Valkyrie headlight bucket for aiming?

Vertical is on the Right side of the bucket at about the 7:30 position.  Horizontal is on the Left side at about the 4:30 position.  Think it is a #2 Phillips (JIS really) but since I have an I/S I really am not sure.

Just a side note here.

I had issues with aiming my headlight because if you ride 2 up it changes the angle of the beam.
So I'd get it aimed really good and then my wife gets on and it gets dark and my high beam is lighting up moon not hardly any road at all..

So if you ride 2 up alot, you might want to adjust it with that in mind.

My wife has since got her own bike. So it's not an issue so much anymore.

The only two up I do is when my 28 # Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Rosie, is on the back of the bike.  My shocks are always set to #5 anyway.  Thanks for the heads-up.

A brighter headlamp may help too.  I have been running a Silverstar.  Others are out there, I am sure.
