I had a good 250mile ride today with three harley rider friends.Lots of mountain riding cool weather an lot of sunshine .Great day.I was asked to do the nickel trick.I put it on the engine an reved her up to 3500 rpm  an impressed some more harley riders.I also got my best mpg at 44.8 I used 2.5 gallons in 112 miles .One of the harley riders used 2.4 for the same amount of miles. Not to bad for a valk.I think the reason was that we were going very slow up in the mountains with a lot of hairpin turns an the valk can do that in top gear .I actually had it down to 18 mph with no trouble an just kept on going while they had to down shift. It's great having a great bike

I tried the nickle trick on my new ride, (Harley), dam thing flew across the street as soon as i hit the starter button,,,gonna take the metal detector to work today and see if i can find it...I cant do the roll out of the turn in high gear at 25 mph,,thats only about 700 rpm, but if i drop it down to 5th gear i can,,,
