Last july... we planted pumpkins!!!!!!

Last night, we had some friends in the hood come over, and their 3 girls got to pick pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.....  It was GREAT!!!!!!

The smiles on the kids faces were 'Priceless!!!!!!  Memories were made!!!!!

Each of the kids got to pick their own pumpkin... and we had some Giant Atlantic pumpkins.... that they got to pick one for the family.....

Cool time!!!!!

Jeff... the kid's dad left for Russia today (business) so we got together with them last night so he could be here for it.... the rest of the kids in the neighborhood will come pick some this weekend.....  pretty cool!!!

we went to wally world last night and i couldn't believe they were trying to sell pumkins for $8 each!!  and they weren't that big!!  i hope they have to throw out a bunch! (i hate that store).

my wife and i usually go to the local farmers market to buy pumkins for the kids, let 'em pick out thier own, it's more fun then pulling 'em out of a crate in a store.

Good on ya! Blessings are yours for the taking.
Never understood how someone could be mean to a kid.
Saw it in a grocery store once, the guy will never forget that either.

That brown stuff in the background is what is left after cuttin hay.... The grass was about 6" tall and brown... then we got 4" of rain 2 weeks ago... the Bluestem grass JUMPED!!!!!  It grew shoulder high in 2 weeks....only 3 acres has bluestem... but it made 6 ea 1200lb round bales..... The bahia grass didn't fair so well during the drought....
