Thanks for the report.  Obviously you have made this trip a few times.  What would you say is the best time to take that trip?  Maybe the first weekend of October or??? Looks like something I might want to put on my calendar.

It really depends on the first freeze(first or second), but you do want to try and come on a weekend. They operate the chair lift and it will take you to the top of the mountain, that view is worth the trip any time of the year.

If you come out in the fall you should also plan on riding the Enchanted Circle.

Wish our trees looked like that in the fall.... they have looked like that for a couple of months now, because of drought...

Great report!!!   I love riding NM and CO.  Wish I were just a few miles closer and I would do it all the time!

I am glad you took time for pics.  I do occasionally, but lately, I have been in driving mode and haven't taken time to do it.
