That is what the voices in my head are saying to me.  So I am thinking of my next MC trip and heading to the coast of Maine.  Never been that far and I would be coming from the Toledo Ohio area.  I figure sometime next Spring.

What is there to see?  Tell me all about it if you know the area.

Thanks

Acadia Nationla Park and Lobsta fresh from the boat.
Maine is like Alaska. There are not to many roads.
The roads that there are, are great .
One more thing don,t ride at dusk, Moose
are big and a funny thing about them is
their eyes donot glow like most animals ans night.

If you go far enough north and can cross over into Canada, do it at St. Stephen on highway #9. Then follow the Bay of Fundy north so you can watch the tide come in. That's where you'll have a water level change of 50-60 ft. or more in some places, and it happens rather quickly. You can go down and walk on the ocean floor, twenty minutes later it's covered with more than 30' of water. Really something.

And as mentioned, Acadia Nat'l. Park at Bar Harbor is kinda neat. Be sure to tour the park and stop at Jordan's Pond for some blueberry treats. There's also a car museum somewhere in there but forget just where.

Hit that Kancamangus highway through NH on the way.

Yes, the lobster (and seafood in general) up here is the best you'll find anywhere.

The Maine coast is beautiful.

If you go in spring make it late spring because it can still be pretty cold up there until at least late mid May.

Central and northern Maine are pretty desolate and much of it is still logging country with no actual townships. Try to plan a route that takes you close to civilization.

The car museum is at Owls head. Also another one in Wells. Maine is a great place to visit. If you are serious about going, send me a PM.
