Well the good news is that the cb works great

But I have since noticed that I hear a beep beep which is in time with the
turn signals when the signals are on

Kinda like the noise a vehicle like a truck makes backing up

not complaining but curious as
I am happy to have the reminder but wonder if there is now some kinda short

My Interstate does also have the flashers

Anyone else ever notice this  and I can also hear it over my headset

Hondas in the '70's had beeping turn signals so you would remember to cancel them.

Could be the PO had installed a piezoelectric beeper in the circuit just for that reason. (a reminder to turn the turn signals off)

The beepers are small, cheap, and easy to install (two wires)

Radio shack has a slew of them.

I use one for my continuity tester rather than a light bulb.

Another one of Chet's (Rattle Bars) many contributions to everyone in this club...   cooldude

As Ricky D said, an easy upgrade to those of us that are forgetting to turn our signals off.

My '77 GL1000 has the beeping Gizmo. Although it does remind me to cancel the signal, it is definitely helpful
when turning into a busy street where people aren't looking while crossing the street. I also use it when I am  splitting lanes.  Wink

At any rate, you can find one on eBay for under $14 bucks. I've seen them for as low as $5 bucks. Smiley
I'll be installing one in my Bronco...
