Yeah Man, tomorrow is the big day.  Gonna trailer up my new Valk and bring her home & store her for the winter w/ my new mechanic.  Since they are calling for 2" to 3" of snow here in Eastern Pa.  & Since the battery is dead & the gasket in the pet rooster won't allow it to run properly, I'm perfectly content enough to park it in a heated garage w/ an excellent mechanic that will tune her properly as needed.

'98 / 65,000 miles / Ivory & red / lots of extras / Great price / Uh um just $ 2,800.  She just needs a little TLC then I'll be runnin' w/ the Big Boys.  My first Valk !  A dream come true, life is Good !

I've had mine for over 10 years and I still remember the excitement the night before I picked it up. Rode it 1100km home the first day. Good luck- you'll love it. The excitement never goes away.    cooldude

alias I know it's been a long road getting this bike. Good luck and welcome to the fun. Glad it worked out.

Great buy.  Keep us informed on how much it takes to get her back up and running again.  I'd be interested to see your total cost.  I thought I got a pretty good deal on mine for $4800, but she was ready to go with a possible front tire in her near future.

Next spring, be prepared to be really impressed.

There are faster bikes, there are more comfortable bikes, bikes that handle better, and the world is full of V-twinkies and other wannabes.

But none are as impressive overall. I've ridden for forty years and had multiple Triumps, BSAs, Nortons, BMWs, a GoldWing and many more.
But I currently have three Valks and each is unique in their own right. "Too much is never enough".
