Me and the Mrs went back out to the Dam tonight and took some pictures of the new Hoover Dam bypass bridge being build, this is one heck of a project! Wow is all I can say when you come around the cover. This was my second ride today and I got alittle sunburned earlier today.

WOW, what a change that is going to make on entry to Vegas.

I always loved to come in that way after dark and see the lights,  Beautiful.

Your not kidding it will make a huge differance, I go that way with the boat to Cotton wood cove on the AZ side and I wont go anymore tell that bridge is done.

what more can you say.
thanks for sharing.
We heard about the future bridge when me and my wife vacationed in Vegas about 5 years ago or so. Interesting to see it go up. Thanks.

My family crossed Hoover dam three years ago, they were just starting that bridge. Looks like it’ll be beautiful when it’s done!!  Thanks for the photos!

Great shots! You can get a nice overview with these pics!
All those cables holding up the two arches under construction are awesome. I wonder if they're tuned? Makes for a really big guitar, maybe zither! Smiley
Here's an obligatory inside the dam pic.

The bridge will make a nice back up incase robots attack the dam again.
I saw a great documentary that told how the generators were fake and all the power comes from an alien cube that the dam was built to hide.
oh wait...that might not have been a documentary...could have been on the news.
