Nice, I like the front fender trimmed like that.

yes

Well I bought my 01 Interstate new and loved it right away.

Then I decided I wanted a std for around town bike and maybe trike it out for Devon.

Well my oldest son fell in love with it so...well you get drift right.

Then I came across a great deal on a tourer that was sitting in a garage unwanted, so I adopted that.

Well my youngest son fell in love with that so....(do you see a pattern here)

Next thing you know all I have is my Interstate, until Devl found a good deal on a Can Am Spyder so.

we sold her shadow and she loves the Spyder. So do I, it's great chasing her around the country.

Well since I don't have anymore son's and my daughter in laws either don't ride or ride with my sons, my granddaughters are too young and it seems another Valkyrie is falling into my lap, so welcome Jack

The previous owner is a good friend and a Michigan VRCC rider,  he has posted a few times and sold a few items in the classifieds he bought an ST 1300 awhile back. He gave me a great deal probably because he knows he can borrow it anytime he wants.

I feel like were brothers know.  Grin The pipe are 18" glasspacks  and have a pretty good sound to them. I will probably make some comfort changes to it but that's about it. Maybe sell the ultimate seat and find a nice corbin. also some baker wings would be nice along with some highway pegs. cooldude

powder coats holds up well if its done correctly...it's important to do the prep work. The red and white one is now my son Aarons (monkeyboys) his idea and plans. The green/cream is my son Bryan's (B-Taz) I gave it to him when he finished collage. He teaches physic's now at a High school.

As Taz said, it is all in the preparation on powder coated wheels.

I had the front wheel on my Chevy Trike powder coated about 3 or 4 years ago, and it has held up great even though I ignored a leaking for seal for 2 years.

Changed out the Tree, 7* in now, and waiting on the 3rd shipment of fork seals. I have never had my supplier screw up before, but they made up for it on this order.   I should have known I was in trouble when my CC failed to accept the purchase, on  their online ordering.
