My good friend Curtis , sent me a picture of his bike after his accident he had yesterday around 5:30 ... Curtis said that there was a line of cars in the turn lane and this STUPID DRIVER  uglystupid2  broke ranks and made a u-turn to go the other way at the same time Curtis was riding in the moving lane picking up speed and thats when he hit her on the drivers side doing an estimated 50 mph .... Luckily Curtis walked away from this accident with no injuries that he's aware of so far ....  Thank God no serious , serious injuries .... I'm hoping and praying that nothing pops up later ... Thanks the Geezer crazy2

Aw, sh....azaam!   Hate to hear that.  Glad Curtis is OK.  Any ticket or was the "I didn't see him" defense in play here? police

Sorry to hear that.  Hope he continues to be ok.  If it's ok with him, I'd like to see the picture of the bike.

Thanks for the input Geezer.  I can imagine Curtis might just wake up tomorrow with a couple aches and pains somewhere.  Thanks to the Lord he stood up after this accident.  Thoughts and thankful prayers are with him.

Glad he is ok.
Although I am not surprised. My morning traffic bound commute is a bit rough to consider riding in. I have noticed that there is not too many other riders of any sort either. I have used the horn in the truck more in the past week that I have the last four years. Time to get a train horn I guess.

Curtis says it's hard as hell to get around this morning.  His thighs and chest hurt where he slammed into the hood of the car!  Crazy!

Get well soon...I feel an Interstate coming on! Smiley

I'm sure Curtis is feeling it today now that the adrenaline has long worn off and all the parts that have moved in ways they haven't in years have had a chance to swell.  Hope it all goes away soon.  The bike looks like a good one to buy back if the ins. totals it, then get an interstate as well.  Good luck with it Curtis!

He has a good bike shop to take his bike to and get an estimate on about  HOW MUCH  its gonna cost to get his Baby back on the road  .... We'll be talkin some more later in the week  2funny ... from the pictures of his bike , I think his Guardian Angel took a LONG VACATION after that ride  Cheesy .... Thanks the Geezer crazy2
