Was able to get out this afternoon for a little ride. It takes forever to warm up, and as soon as the sun starts to set so do the temps. I love riding in the fall.

This is got to be my favorite

It is so wonderful to live where I do and not have to think about storing the bike for the winter.  We get to ride most every week here.  It does get cold but we can handle the cold.  This past weekend I spent teaching 12 men and women to ride.  The other instructor I was teaching with rode his Victory Vision and I rode it during lunch break.  I did figure eights in "the box" without any problem.  I could feel the weight of the bike but the balance was excellent.  A very nice touring bike in my opinion.  I rode a Victory Cross Country a few months ago a police officer friend owns and it was a very nice handling bike as well.  Then I just smile when I think about owning the best bike of all!

Way to go Scoot...did 126 miles yesterday myself..Chiko and I that is...morning stated out at 15 degrees,,,we fiddled around til it hit 31  and hit the road..unfortunately we've got few trees around here to ogle, everything is the same dried up almond color but still we got out..did see a family of deer cross the road, a buck , doe and 3 little ones..ran across the road, then turned around and went right back to where they came from....Gotta love those Gerbing's, don't have to put 10 layers of clothes on..

Planning on doing some riding this weekend.

I'm one of the very few who "doesn't", ride in the hot weather. My riding days are the Fall, Spring coupled with only the cool Summer days and the milder days of Winter.

It was 30 degrees east-o-Tucson this morning.
The Valk still has three screws in the back tire.
The Shadow isnt hooked up for the First Gear Happy jacket.
I have the gloves and am wanting to give em a whirl.
Probably end up on the dark side soon as far as affordability goes.

If you had told me last week that I'd be riding today I probably would have said the odds weren't good.
