as there were literally thousands of bikes at the rally, we did spot a red and cream tourer and a red and white standard parked near each other.

I saw a sister to mine there and met up with a black standard on my trip home.

I was there with my IB Rune (Saturday -- participated in the Outlaw Dave Ranch Ride), and saw one other Rune (CBC) getting some bright LEDs installed.  Saw two Valks (may have been more) in the line-up at Stubbs H-D before the start of the ride: one black, and the other was a red and cream (might have been the one already mentioned).

Collectively, I think the Valk owners had the good sense to stay away from the Strand with their bikes: didn't notice one in several hours of getting my eardrums split by the repeated racking of v-twin exhaust.  Didn't mind the noise *too* much because I was slurping down a 30-oz. strawberry daiquiri ($30 with LED-illuminated skull tankard *and* a free refill) Roll Eyes.  Several paint jobs were damaged by objects (primarily Mardi Gras beads) thrown from balconies.

BJ and I were there on the.............wing...   Roll Eyes  Saw a black IS, custom painted Red/black IS, red and white tourer, red/black tourer (met him outside the Kruy booth packin up his loot), and a champange/black IS.  I saw Steve and his wife, but never saw his bike.

We had a great time.  There were many, many motorcycles on the island.  I took a bunch of pictures.  I will post a "ride report" later.

I'm glad all ov my Valk friends seem to have made it there and back without incident.

Nancy said she saw Franco and his wife at an intersection Sunday afternoon. She had just got off work and was headed home. I thought I saw them at the light on 61st & Broadway, heading north, but didn't have much chance to look.

We went back to look for some late afternoon deals, but didn't pick up much.

Saw a few Valks parked, but didn't see owners or recognize the bikes. Including a nice Rune (maroon) with the organ pipe exhaust

Well......... I got a report from my brother about Saturday evening....

There was a guy right in the middle of a large crowd receiving a "Bill Clinton" right in front of everyone.  Shocked

So my brother elected to move his group on to another location!

I've heard both ways. But I've always reserved the "Lewinsky" for a golf putt that goes around the hole but it gets spit out at the last second...  2funny
