I have the honor to escort home SSgt David E. Lemcke to his final resting place. This Hero was KIA/MIA on May 21st, 1968. He was a rifleman with the B Battery, 1st Battalion, 40th Artillery, 108th Artillery Group at Outpost A1, in the Quang Tri Province, South VietNam when he was killed along with 3 of his fellow soldiers. We, the Patriot Guard were asked to escort the SSgt from the Airport in Rochester NY to his final resting place in Hilton, NY. We will be joined by many other Veterans from all different organizations, and I am sure I will need a few handkerchiefs for this ride. Please pray for a safe ride for all, and God bless the American Military, the finest in the World.
