yeah, doesn't make sense that they don't bring back the valkyrie, but one thing for certain, no one will be stupid enough to ask "what kinda harley is that?"  (then again, there are idiots out there that think harley invented motor cycles.)

If you think they won't ask that about the Rune, they certainly do ask it about my 2004.  To the uneducated, motorcycle and Harley are synonyms.  We know better, they don't really care one way or the other.

Talked with a factory Rep from Marysvill Ohio..thisThursday...He said it's not gonna happen.
He's in agreement with most of us..."bring back the Valk  (with self canceling turn signals,a little
bigger fuel tank)

The bigger tank I get (although EFI could extend the range of the current tank by some 30 miles or more) but self-canceling signals? That kind of crutch is for RUBs. Personally I hated them on the Fatboy.

Oh, and a sixth gear would increase mileage especially on the freeway.

Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent.
But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent.
Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep.
In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.

I personally like the looks of the Rune, although I would consider it more of a show piece than a travelin bike...but got to tell ya I'd ride it and ride it alot...just like my Valk..
