Grumpy I am thinking of going back to 35's or atleast going to try it first but if I find that I am satisfied w/ the 35 (stock jets) then I will have two sets of 38's available.

I'll keep you posted but you will probably already have a set by the time I get around to my bike... I have tons of iron's in the fire at the moment.

Hope all is well with you!!!

Keep me in mind, I am in the same boat, have some must do projects around here. I probably pull the carbs next month to clean and replace the slow jets.

You just need to call them and tell them what you want.  Not worth the headache of doing it online but here is their link:  http://www.sudco.com/

Search Sudco's site for jets for Kehein carbs. It will help if you know what they look like. Their site is pretty extensive
so calling them is likely to be quicker and less chance of getting the wrong jets.

My dealers Val Expert told me "when you put in the bigger jets the stock won't fit properly any more". Threads are not milled right and cut a wider path. Anyone heard this? ???

Not so. The only difference is the ID of the jets and not the OD. Has nothing to do with the threads.

A lot went to 38's. It does burn a little more gas. Gives more power and with than more gas. With the crappy gas and E-10 fuels 35's tend to stop up a lot quicker. I run 35's in my Tourer and the reason I ran them in the other bike is I had to pull the carbs and rebuild them after I bought the bike. I don't worry much about mine right now being I live in the deep south and ride mine all year long. Just people who has to store theirs has more to worry about. But you can run 38's with stock pipes if you choose so. If you aren't having any problems I would leave them be.
