kinda long but if you like happy buy in america endings worth reading

Maybe back in 2003 I was shopping for trailers as one reason I got the Valk was so Bonnie and I could tour the country and Lord knows the woman likes to take it ALL with us

Had seen bushtecs and it so happens that on ebay a turbo plus 2 was selling in NJ
not even an hour away
I have posted a pic and will put one below
It had an awesome mural on the top 1994 year model. I found out the cost of the mural was probably about what I bid and got it for

Fast forward to after my trip out west in 2005 and I am at americade in June 2006 and talking to the owner at his booth  Mentioned my trailer and he offered that if I rode down to Jonesboro TN
(hope that is spelled right) that he would replace the short tongue with the new longer tongue
which would or so he said greatly improve safety and handling
So since I was going to Sweetwater anyway I did just that, stopping at Charliemac's on the way down
On the way back I first met HB and LD and fell in love with their little slice of heaven
as I stayed at the ranch overnite  Both Charliemac and Don and Tracy
are folks that are welcome here anytime. Genuine fine people

Since I have used the trailer to go back to Johnson City, to Montreal and lots of points between
including Inzane in Bellaire Michigan  The pic is stopping at Detroit airport to drop Bonnie and Cheryl off for the flight back to NY. G-man and I got back the following afternoon.

Anyway while waiting for the work to be done the Bushtec folks let me walk all thru the factory explaining everything to me (unlike the Bell helmet story which is what reminded me of this story) but the icing on the cake is John replaced the air lines and rerouted em from inside back outside, all of the bulbs, replaced the frame on the cooler that sits in front of the trailer and the tongue for about 150 bucks

He said something that always will stick with me

The trailer has my name on it, whether you bought it from me or not I want it to run and be the best it can be

That my friends is customer service

I heard but dont know if its true that he recently sold the company  If true I hope he has a happy retirement and the company continues his traditions

It's good to hear there are sellers who really care about their products and their customers who buy those products.   cooldude   Too many times, they only care until the check clears, then you're on your own.  Undecided  crazy2

Company is located in Jacksboro,TN. My brother used to work for them and go to the shows for them. It was sold and they no longer do their once a year open house event which I never got to, but wanted too. They made a great trailer and if the new owners continue in the same path they will continue to.  cooldude
