First off thanks for the prayers and well wishes. I've had no internet service in the hospital or in the PT center.

Knee replacement was a success. Hospital had me walking right after recovery from surgery. Transfered to Barn Hill in Newton for physical therapy for almost 2 weeks. Came home Thursday nite after visit to surgeon. He is pleased and so am I.

Painfull operation, very stiff and sore, especially in the morning. The happy pills make it a little better. Flexation is at 110 degrees they want me to get to 135 degrees. So I have quite a bit of work to do. Start outpatient therapy this week.

I should be riding again in no time. Yee Haw.

Oss, Sorry no nurse pics. Although one of the young nurses at Hackensack Hospital was real hot wish I had a camera.

If these old bones can get to 135, you can also youngster.

Don't be in too big of a hurry to jump on the bike.    Make sure you are completely healed, trust me..........

Thanks RJ,

I plan on doing the therapy till I'm 100%. No riding for awhile, but just as well as its getting cold up this way. Each day that goes by I am flexing more. Just this morning I put my compression stockings on by myself.

Stan,

Great to hear you're "Back in the Game!!"  Timing is good (I guess)......riding season will be done pretty soon......you can take the off season to complete rehab. Heal up quick, my friend.
