Recharging a battery
«

A friend of mine bought a golf cart that needed a lot of work and batteries. He was going to put in 6 volt batteries and he called me because there were four fill caps on the batteries. 8 volt, I told him. After pricing them out , he found a sight that resurected lead acid batteries with epsom salt.
I have not had the ability to try this myself. If someone has a MC battery around that is dead, it might be worth a try. Two of the batteries in the cart read about 2 volts. He did the procedure and now thas about two years on them. I have tried to post links before, with no luck .
Here is one of the sights I looked at. E-HOW how to recondition a car battery at home.
I know someone will or has tried this and will share the info.
