Had two run out in front of me yesterday morning.... and noticed 12 more getting ready to sprint across the road as well.

Surely those are not all from one hunter......  but it wouldn't bother me if they were....

I had one like that way back when, mine were Black Tails I bagged in Prince William

Looks like a bunch I bagged way back when, only mine were blacktails I got out of Prince William Sound, Alaska.  A Bud and I flew into Montague Island, landed on the beach and spent a few days camping and hunting.  Awesomely beautiful place.

A hunter with an AR maybe?

That Christmas picture is AWESOME.

In short, no luck. A lot of fun but not much luck. Just a few small bucks in front of me during bow season and pretty much the same with gun season so far. I've been at camp since Saturday except for an hour or two at home Monday for a shower and some internet time.  The storms nearly turned the tent over a time or two and were great fun while sitting in a tree. Grin Now it's back to work tomorrow. Sad

I had a nice buck in my sights twice but always with brush and at least 130 yards between us so I didn't shoot. Had a little buck and little doe within 20 yards opening morning but I let them them grow. Then a little 7 pointer appeared like a ninja deer 18 yards from my stand in the wet leaves yesterday. I let him grow too but from the sound of it when he crossed the road the neighbors thought he looked like supper. Grin

My son Joe camped with me and took a nice doe, (he got his buck during bow season) and son Andy was camping and bow hunting at Cliffty Falls park for a deer reduction hunt this past week. He got to hear his first tornado sirens there and saw a huge buck but couldn't connect all the dots to get him.

I'd really rather have two does than a buck the the does seem to be in hiding in our part of Parke County. I may need you to tie one to a tree for me. Grin
