Is this item the "Ignition Control Module" that is talked about a lot and what advantage is there in replacing the Tourer model with the Interstate model? Thanks.

The pictures suggest it's a ICM for the Interstate. I can read a MBY code on one of the pictures. The description .... CDI.....IDK what that stands for. The ICM for the Std has a MZO code on it and is a little smaller. However they they will trade places from Std to Interstate.

Some people have installed the Interstate model in their Std. The timing different, Interstate model has aprox a 2%  advanced timing curve because the bike is heavier.

Thanks 5_19, there was some discussion a lot earlier on the forum about the advantages of the I/S ICM, I don't know what else it could do for the Tourer, hopefully, a little better fuel economy.
