I've noticed that the low beam is more of a flood light pattern and the high beam is more of a spot light pattern. I would like a little more of a spot light pattern for the low beam than what it is now.

Has anybody ever modded the headlight such as the chrome center piece inside of the headlight to affect the light pattern? or are these set patterns based on the rear reflector?

Thanks

I agree the OEM headlight is very "flood"like.  Once I upgraded my Cobra lights to these H-3 spots, the spotlights provide the targeted center beam that lights up the road just right.

I added spots to fill-in the dark spot in front of the bike when I switch to high beam. And to help light up the deer eyes at the side of the road.
