I was lucky enough to go to Biketoberfest in Daytona this year, We stay in a camp ground about 10 miles from all the fun. It was my first time to Florida and i really enjoyed myself. I seen alot of Valkyries there, the friends we stayed with said it was really calm compaired to yrs before. Spent the next week in Sarasota, seen alot of sights and just relaxed. This being retired thing might just workout. I have been seeing my new girl friend for almost a year and we travel well together so that makes its really nice.

Hi Tank Sue and myself were at Biketoberfest but saw very few Florida VRCCers.Dougger posted on the Fl board about lunch Sat there but only got 2 responses and nothing confirmed.Is there another messageboard that the 11 Valks from South Flordida used to plan this? Would of loved to of met up with you folks.We didn't know we could make it down there till a day or so before otherwise I would of posted too.

we have 5 Valks in my legion riders group.2 in the military vet rides group plus 2 more up in boca and a few others that we know. we put it together a week or two before and rode out together.

    We stayed at the New Smyrna Beach camp ground, They had cabins or you could pull your camper in. Real clean and nice showers. Very nice folks and they would check on you and make sure you had a nice stay.
